Domaine de Ferrand, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone, France

£50.00

Tasting note:

95% Grenache with a splash of Mourvedre, Cinsault and Syrah. It's a lovely perfumed fragrant style of CNDP, soft and elegant and not the monster fruit bombs that can more than occasionally materialise from this neck of the woods. That said, it is still 15% ABV so, you know, proceed with due caution.

Producer:

Philippe Bravay took over the family domaine and bottled his first wine in 1997, breaking away from the négociant and other co-operative organisations to whom his forefathers used to sell. These folks own some of the oldest Grenache vines in the CDP appellation.

Vintage: 2017
