Dermot and Ana Sugrue have been some of the biggest names in bringing English fizz to the masses, having worked at Nyetimber, Wiston Estates and Sugrue South Downs. Bee Tree is their latest venture, a Sussex vineyard meant to show the power of bright fresh wines from the UK. No malolactic fermentation, stainless steel aging means the taste is super fresh, light and mineral. Whilst most of their focus is on the Chardonnay, their BdN is excellent, showing notes of apple, honeysuckle, strawberries, raspberries, pastries and red berries. Drink now or has great potential to age.
